I apologized to the commodore of my sailing club saying that I probably wouldn't be able to attend the sailing club awards dinner because our first grandchild is due to arrive in the next couple of weeks. And when he or she does show up we will be going to stay with my son and his wife for a while to help out. The commodore already has several grandchildren and said that of course he understood and told me that this will be a "life changing event".
Wow. Can't wait. Here's Anne with about 18 days to go.
